At your first visit to Tarnick Chiropractic & Acupuncture, PC, the Chiropractor, Dr. Ryan Tarnick will explain to you how the science of chiropractic works. Dr. Tarnick will then give you a full evaluation to see if chiropractic care is right for you. Dr. Tarnick utilizes a gentle Chiropractic adjustment for his patients called specific prone. It is a technique using light pressure along the spine to remove any spinal subluxations/misalignments that maybe putting pressure on the nervous system. This technique doesn’t utilize any twisting motions and is often commented on as being a very comfortable adjustment from our patients.
Most people hear Acupuncture and think of needles, but there are actually many ways to stimulate Acupuncture points and get results. Dr. Tarnick utilizes a non-needle approach by using a hand held electrical stimulator to treat Acupuncture points as well as an Acupressure technique using his fingertips to stimulate Acupuncture points.
